What you need

Step by step

  1. Charge it with the USB cable.
  2. Install the app named in the box or on the official store, then create your account.
  3. Pair it next to your router: follow the app to add the camera and choose your Wi-Fi network. If you have separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, the 2.4 GHz one is the usual choice for small cameras.
  4. Insert the micro SD card if you want local recording.
  5. Mount it: snap it onto the magnetic base, then twist the head to aim it. No drilling.
  6. Turn on motion alerts in the app and test them by walking past.

Night vision tips

Infrared night vision reaches about 33 ft (per the seller) and switches on by itself. Don't aim it through a window at night – the glass reflects the infrared light and you'll see mostly glare.
